Re: The January transfer window thread
I can't imagine any other premier league clubs forums would have discussed Jordan fucking Rhodes as much as we have in the last 5 years.

Re: The January transfer window thread
Gestede? Rhodes? FMOB... let's go and get Akinfenwa while we are at it...

Or better still I've done some dumps that would prove more useful than Gestede and Rhodes.... FML.

Re: The January transfer window thread
I wouldn't be totally against the idea of Rhodes, but then you have the issue that Boro probably won't want to sell to us.

Re: The January transfer window thread
Yeah i hear what people are saying on Rhodes and understand some of the views below

For me if you can score that many goals in bang adverage Huddersfield, Blackburn and Boro sides then with Lanzini, Payet Antonio etc laying on chances id fancy him to notch a few

Wouldnt be my first choice no way, but offers more then Zaza and Calleri etc and we all know its not a buyers market in Jan

Alex

Villa are apparently Rhodes most likely destination

a good fit as mid-table championship seems to be about his level

Re: The January transfer window thread

Also wanted by Liverpool. So we have no chance. They aren't particularly blessed with strikers a the minute so anyone they buy will get some decent game time. So suggesting anyone would come to us rather than them because they would be guaranteed a game wouldn't be a suggestion.

Jese is available on loan from PSG.

Also, if we can bin tore I'd take a gamble on MEMPHIS.

Re: The January transfer window thread
Rhodes old striking partner Gestede might be available on the cheap from Villa. Not a very inspiring player at first glance, but at least he has the physicality to compete, he'd love trying to get on the end of those Payet crosses.

Re: The January transfer window thread
Rhodes, turns at the same speed as milk

There's a reason he can't get in the Boro side despite their top scorer only getting 3 this season

there's also a reason no Premier League side has ever signed him

Re: The January transfer window thread
Rossal I would rather go with one of our kid strikers than Rhodes,he has not proven anything in the premier,he is a championship player at most.

Alex V 2:04 Wed Dec 14
Re: The January transfer window thread

Re: The January transfer window thread
get the French outcast at Man U in to partner Obiang. not sure I'd spend much else until next summer. try and get Ayew & Feghoulo settled and lift Nordveit's confidence
